Hewesという人がつけたものだそうです(この人は茶会事件の参加者で、事件当時10代だった人らしい)。で、そのことは James Hawkes "A retrospect of the Boston tea-party,: With a memoir of George R.T. Hewes, a survivor of the little band of patriots who drowned the tea in Boston harbour in 1773"(S.S. Bliss, 1834)→(Amazon.com) という本に書いてあるそうですが、現物はまだ見てないし、英語の本なんて読めません。
